been out and about in my old sprint powered car, after a few dodgy moments with hot starts it has been going very well and very reliable. I know, I shoudnt push my luck with comments like that. Then suddenly, bang, the clutch failed, turned out to be the red hose flew off the nipple at the foot cylinder, still a nuisance when you are out in the sticks. Good old RAC rescued me. He mentioned my timing chain sounded a bit rattly, but the car was very hot. Then my voltage stabiliser gave up I bought a new solid state one but it seems a bit wayward 10 volts output? But all back on the road with a goodridge hydraulic hose and I must say it feels good on my foot. Thanks for all the info, despite pressure from fellow kit car owners the sprint motor stays, its good enough for me and different/

Yes it should be 10V output on the VS.

You could have bought the braided clutch hose through the Club; they're only £45...
