Hello all!

On my search for all things Dolomite, I treated myself to this lovely headlamp and wiper stalk - although I'm now not sure it is in fact from a dolomite? It has an option (unlike mine) for a single wiper use from pressing the wiper down, and is one complete unit together with the indicator stalk. I'd assumed I would be able to separate it and utilise the indicator stalk.

Can anyone tell me what I've bought exactly?!

It's not for any sort of Dolomite, I suspect it's Marina!

Similar units are also used on the Spitfire 1500 and TR7.

Clearly wrongly described, you’d be justified in asking for a refund on that.

I bought a set like that and mine came from a Mini. I cut and shut it and used it on my MGB. My Dolomite has a flick wipe as standard - you pull the wiper stalk towards the steering wheel. It always amazes me that when they designed the wiper/washer stalk, they didn't think to automatically switch on the wiper when you use the washer. I suppose what is now blindingly obvious never occured to them back then.

We just got back from holiday and hired a car in Europe that had automatic lights, wipers and even handbrake, I was thoroughly dissapointed I had to steer!

I have started a returns request, we shall see!
