The 1500fwd is now on the road. I've done 7 miles! Drives exactly as I remembered from the ones I had in the 70's and 80's. Even down to the noise of the n/s wiper blade. Main difference is that the synchromesh works on this one. It will be an ongoing restoration. Will never be concours but certainly presentable. Now that I know it goes OK I can now order the exhaust.

On the road, that's the main thing! Too many classic cars in bits in people's garages for multi-decade restorations when they could be being used and enjoyed!
