Are the Rimmer Bros commissioned rubber seals made from the same EPDM material?

Given the situation with front windscreen seals,
I won’t buy an inferior product and will continue to pay more
for a higher quality if that option is available.

Thanks
Ian

Rimmer Bros are offering front and rear quarter light seals from March 11 at £60/pair inc VAT.
Am I the only one that finds it massively suspicious that when the club postpones it's order with the supplier all of a sudden Rimmers are saying:
Quote:
Front Quarter Light Seal - Pair 8089567PR
Qty Req-1
8089567PR
Out Of Stock, Expected Soon May 12, 2020. Add To Cart And Back Order

Hmmm. Whatever, the bottom line is that we will supply all those members who have paid deposits with a set of rubbers at the agreed price or lower. Period. Feel free to share this statement on social media.

Careful Andy, the quotation I had was time limited; we can't guarantee they'll hold their price indefinitely.

Possibly there is an element of collecting back orders to gauge interest before committing to their supplier...but I now know who their supplier is, and they have confirmed Rimmers have made the enquiry...

Good morning, just following up on this. Has anyone received a set of Q/Light rubbers from Rimmers, and if so what was the quality like?

No, Rimmers delayed their launch until mid May; whether that will now happen in the current crisis remains to be seen.

I now have e-mail addresses for all that have submitted deposits, and will be talking to you all outside of the public domain shortly....

E-mail now sent to all stakeholders (except Mig-wielder).

If you can't see it, check your spam folder as being copied into 46 folk it might get filtered by some fire walls.

Tony, it rejected your address, can you PM me your current e-mail please?

If it was computer software we would be using the word "vapourware" ;-)
