I've looked through all my Sprint manuals but can't find any specs. for the cam followers. I have a head that probably needs the follower bores machined. Does anyone have the dims. for the bores and the clearance required? I see Rimmers do standard, +0.010" & +0.020" followers.

The worst follower (that was rocking side to side) measures:-

Top - 1.3102"
Mid - 1.3015"
Bot - 1.3096"

As you can see, the middle dim. is almost 0.009" down on the top & bottom dims..

Also, does anyone have a new standard follower they can measure for me please.

thanks Martin

Thanks for the info.. Where did you find it?

So the bores are approx. 0.0008" bigger than the followers. That does seem similar to clearances I got from Tony (migwielder).

thanks.
