These figures are for a car without overdrive with OD they drop to 473 and 441. So if your car is non O/D you have an early 1500 axle fitted as 594 x 5 = 2970.

That's great, thanks. It's a '78 registered car, so it might well be the earlier axle, not sure when they changed. At least it's not a 1300 CW&P.

I think the change did not come in until about 1980.
