There is a Dolomite about with the Saab B234 engine fitted and it's the later vertical engine. It was originally for sale part finished, it was very cheap and I did consider going to have a look at it but I didn't have a garage at the time. Someone bought it and sprayed it blue, and it came up for sale again a year, or two, back. The bulkhead had been cut away quite a lot IIRC.

I have had a couple of Classic Saab 900 16v turbos, with the 2 litre engine and they are pretty quick (one had 230 BHP), so the 2.3 version would be really potent, especially in a much lighter Dolomite. Apart from the occasional HG failure, the engines are pretty bomb proof too.
