I currently have a problem with a sticking calliper piston on a 1976 Dolomite Sprint which has tandem brakes.

I am looking for any recommendations on whether to just fit a seal kit, or to completely replace the piston with stainless instead of steel, as well as fitting a new seal kit?

Many thanks,

Roy

Fitting a new seal kit and pistons when these are pitted. Replacement by stainless or normal std is a personal choice. Pitting, how minor it is will alway's keep you in trouble.

For £45 per side, plus carriage, the club can supply you with fully refurbished callipers on an exchange basis, with new seals, pistons, bolts and bled screws, pressure tested and finished in a nice zinc plate.
