Sprint propshaft length?

Post subject:  Sprint propshaft length?

Does length of the prop shaft on the Sprint differ with and without overdrive, like on the small chassis cars? And what length is the overdrive one, 50"?

Manual non-O/D and O/D Sprint props are the same length. Only the Automatic one is different (an inch or two shorter) 50" is right for a manual car IIRC.

Manual non-O/D and O/D Sprint props are the same length. Only the Automatic one is different (an inch or two shorter) 50" is right for a manual car IIRC.

Isn't the auto prop longer; the auto' 'box being slightly shorter than the manual and no adaptor plate being used?

...but yes, 50" is the manual length.

Just for the record the Sprint Automatic propshaft is just over 55inches (1.40m). Geoff
