Ted passed away at 4:30 pm today.

I'll notify of the arrangements when they've been confirmed.

Yes sad news Alun, got to know Ted and his wife Menai well, more so in the early nineties. Condolences from myself and my wife Gill.

It's very sad to read this news. I must have know him for the thick end of thirty years but it seems like yesterday when I first met him at a DSR meet in the West Midlands. I'd like to think of him upstairs giving Peter a ride in a Sprint, with tyres squealing, on his way to meet Menai...

Just read this. Very sorry to read about Ted. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times.

One particular memory was the time when he showed me his Carmine Sprint engine bay, complete with his re-routing of the water system in copper pipe! 8). A smashing chap and an all round good egg!

Another excuse to have a large whiskey..I'm having quite a few of them recently.

Cheers Ted and all. :sozzled:
