I have a pair of seat diaphragms, part number 569944. Could anyone tell me whether these are for an HL or non-HL type seat?

Thanks.

My general parts book doesn't list the diaphragms as a separate part, but my '75 Sprint book has the diaphragm as 819032 which would be common for HL cars

Isn't 569944 listed for the Herald/Vitesse?

Graham

Thanks, Alun.

I thought that too, Graham! I've not had one of those for 27 years though so they must have come from a Dolomite. Will see if I can turn up any other numbers on them.

569944 is listed in the Toledo parts book for two door front seats, plus both fixed and reclining four door front seats, so they would probably fit non HL Dolomite seats also.

I was looking to get non HL diaphragms remanufactured to compliment the HL ones the Club already holds, but my research of actual seats in actual cars found three different types with the Toledo, non HL Dolomite and SE each having different ones, the latter having a mix of rubber and a hessian type material; they may all of course have been the same size, but I didn't get that far!

Hi all. I also have a brand new pair of "narrow" seat diaphragms, purchased from Aldridge Trimming for my non HL seats. Never used as I accquired HL seats for my 1500HL. Part numbers on the bottom are 569944 - P151.Made by Vitafoam LTD.
Stored in a black plastic bag in a dark place.!
