 Post subject: Door Seal Channel

Chris Witor sells the door seal channel,has any one fitted it,how are they fitted ? can they be bend easy

I didn't use Chris's parts, I used salvaged one's instead. Originally they were spot welded but that looked a nightmare to do with my Mig, so I just glued them on. So far they haven't fallen off.

As for bending them, the originals were fitted in sections, with gaps. So my advice would be to leave gaps at the bends, to minimise the number of bends you have to make. Fit them as a series of straights and bend the very end of the channels only.
