Hi there, not sure if anyone can help, but my new (ish) sprint has no key for the boot lock. Is there a way of finding the key code and getting a replacement?

Many thanks,
Gary

The key code, three numbers, is stamped on the cam which operates the latch; unfortunately you likely have to remove the lock in order to be able to read it.

The key code is also stamped on the alloy housing of the glove box lock, which is far easier to remove and these SHOULD be the same number, though your car would not be unique were one of the locks changed in the last 50 or so years.

When you have the number, I may be able to furnish you with a key.

Hi Alun,

I met you at the Club day the other week and we briefly talked about interior mirrors! I think you said you had one available, is that correct? If you have I would very much like one as mine is really not the right type (no idea why!).. If you could let me know (and the cost) that would be great.

Many thanks,
Gary (Trevorrow)

If anyone is struggling to get a key cut use these guys if you can't get a blank. https://www.keysinthepost.com/
I have used them myself and the fitted 1st time. They can cut by number as well.

Tony.
