Need I say more... What are the steps to it?

point spray can towards car,press nozzle.

lots of prep work sanding and filling. you need somewhere warm ,well ventilated and draft proof with no dampness in the air lots of masking up and cutting back.

or pay someone else to do it.

I think that paying somebody else might not be an option for Adam...

Lots of very thin coats will reduce the risk of runs.

If you spray out of a can in this weather then the paint ill become oxodised in seconds....needs to be in a warm place, you could do it by warming each panal then painting them!! (in a garage)

The way i do it is to use filler primer first then sand it down with fine paper till the "orange peel" has gone then give it a flash coat...wait 5 min then go for a top coat, i usually give a panel 3 top coats!! (waiting 1hr between)

Remember that can paint is softer than factory paint so it will chip alot easyer (thats why i use filler primer)

Store can paint upside down so when you shake it right way up the piant is mixed better....put it in warm water to thin it down for more even coats!

I wouldnt usually try and paint in this weather less you have a very warm and dry place........dont speed up the drying time with using a hair dryer etc as the top coat drys and the paint under it stays wet for ages (knew somone that did that, made a right mess) and use all sand paper dry even on filler and wait for about 2 days befor trying to polish the paint and dont go mad as its only thin paint!
