Hello gents just womderimg would the sprint head fit onto the tr7 2l block and will it use the same head gasket etc??

Should do, all Sprint /1850/TR7 blocks are the same original cast and the TR7 had the same bore as the Sprint. You'd need a Sprint head gasket, pistons with the valve cut outs to the crown, duplex timing gear and Sprint front cover. I have spare front covers if you need one...
