We got those too! One of them, in a scrapyard in Leeds in the mid '80s, provided the sump guard for my Gordinified 12 Estate..... My 12 (that green one in the pic) was a 5 year old car at the time so was still solid, the Dacia (also the estate) was on top of a pile at the age of 2, terminal rust being the trouble there. My 12 is still around and, thanks to the amount of Ensis V I poured into it over the years; still sans rust. I bet that very few of the Dacia-built versions are. How did they manage to make them out of such rubbish steel? :?

There must have been a MG meet on in this part of Devon as 5 passed going toward Totnes as I headed to Paignton this morning including a couple of chrome bumper models and a MG R V8 :)

Also this week in and around Torbay this week a Jaguar MK2 and what I think was a Jaguar XK150 outside Jaguar specialist,Beechdown Garage on the road to Totnes, both in metalic Grey and both looking immaculate. Also,in Torquay yesterday a black Capri MK1 with a very loud exhaust and in Paignton a VW Variant.
Today, outside Paignton RFC,a '72 Lotus Elan in red and finally a original VW Beetle convertible in a fetching Pinky/Purple colour with smoothed out rear driving in Paignon too.

Must be the sunshine bringing them out I reckon :D

Notice the number plates on the SLR are in both pics, that'll be because I had to move it from Port Hercules back up to the Hotel de Paris in Casino Square at the end of the day. It's a hard life being a project manager sometimes! :P

Then about a week or so later when I was waiting outside the Ferrari factory for a tour this turned up... I nearly had a "special moment"!!

Today I spotted a Goodyear blimp, not a car but pretty cool nonetheless. It was a little windy though and i'm glad I was on the ground rather than actually in the aircraft.

Yesterday on the M25. Nice example even if the colour is somewhat ghastly.

This morning at traffic lights on the A322 in Bracknell a very nice looking mini, unfortunately the 'gumpack' camera doesn't see in the dark too well.

Much better than my pictures which were awful. I was trying to light a barbeque at the time but a great site to see. Oddly I'd seen it a week or so earlier when driving home so there must have been several things going on in my area to make it fly over twice. Michelin UK are based in Stoke so perhaps they were just making a point?
