Driven the very reasonably priced Chevrolet Lacetti as thrashed around on Top Gear today. I'd like to report that it has stood up surprisingly well to the abuse it was given on the show and that the roll cage has stiffenened up the car a bit. The racing seats and full harness gives the impression you are driving something much sportier. In fact with 1790 miles on the clock it felt surprisingly loose must be all that hard driving.

I also had to ask whether they are getting it back? The answer from the man at Chevrolet was "It's our car and they can borrow it if they want to". Clearly this man didn't wish to comment on whether or not the show has been axed.

Interesting.

Maybe they went for a new reasonably priced car?

It seems like there is something Top Gear occurring in the autumn, as all three presenters were spotted racing to the magnetic north pole in the last few weeks. Clarkson and May were in a Toyota Hilux, and Hammond was apparently on a dog sled...
