Anyone know what causes the noise in the video. It only affects 3 downstairs radiators and upstairs are fine. The sound in the video is not that accurate, it's more of a tinkling/buzzing sound. 2 of the rads replaced but no difference. Very little sediment came out of the rads.

Vibration in the end/top panels that are usually just friction fitted?

No vibration it seems Alun, they have plastic tensioners on them. It's more of a tinkling sound, but fairly loud, which is why I was expecting lots of rusty particles to come out but didn't find any. That seemed the likely culprit to me but apparently not.

Might they be the first three radiators after the pump? If so, is the noise louder in the one nearest the pump?

Pump is in the loft with the boiler so these are the furthest away. Only thing I can think of is to drain and refill the system but was trying to avoid this.

It could just be the sound of the water circulating inside the radiators.

As Dave says, try turning the pump speed down to see if that makes a difference. It might still flow well enough with the speed set a bit lower.

You could also try adjusting the lock-shield valves, on the opposite end of the radiators to the TRVs. Has the system been properly balanced with the lock-shield valves?
