The Carledo has been driving me crazy the last couple of days!

Every time I switch off the engine, I hear a beep! The Carledo does NOT "BEEP" it's not that sort of car! I may have imported some next gen tech, but it's still 30 years old and doesn't include ANYTHING that BEEPS!

Today I sussed it! When I went to TDCIR on Sunday, I used the satnav and when I arrived I took it off the screen and shoved it in the glovebox, but neglected to disconnect it from the power supply which is also in the glovebox. The beep was the satnav complaining about losing the power supply! D'OH!!!!!

A few year ago Macdonalds happy meal contained a Minnion toy which made a noise if you moved it, many weeks of fun was had putting them under the seats and in glove boxes of our company vehicles.
One was declared VOR because the driver couldn't work out what the 'beeping' noise was when he went around corners or braked.
Toy removed, truck declared safe to use, toy put back two days later. :)
