We have one for the Rover 75, it allows you to remove the subframe, without have to take the engine out. No reason it wouldn't work on a Dolly.

After a long wait, the engine beam has finally arrived. I thought I'd show you it in situ, so you can judge its suitability, in case anyone is considering getting one.

It's the Sealey ES300 model.
