Today is my last day of work before I retire. :jump4joy:

I will now have more time to spend in my new garage, hopefully rebuilding Dolly engines & gearboxes.

Martin

I haven't got any photos of the finished garage Matt. I'll have to take some & post them in the resto thread.

I can reconmend retirement, I retired 18months ago i don't know how i found time to go to work. The only thing with retirement is the pay, not very good. good wishes for the future.

It is a funny thing retirement Mart, you will rarely find time to do the things you want to do  Very strange but enjoyable all the same 8)
Best wishes for the future.

Tony.

Congratulations Mart.

I'll be in touch in the near future about an engine build for VA485.

All the best

Tony

Thanks guys. Retirement has been in the planning for a couple of years now. I realised it makes no sense to just retire with no plans on what to do afterwards so, what with our house move & covid, I postponed it until now. I'm hoping to get a few Dolly bits to rebuild and, with that said, I have recently rebuilt a Sprint engine & two rear axles and have another Sprint engine & gearbox lined up (plus hopefully Tony's). I also have other interests so hoping this will keep me going for a while.
