Over the moon to see our old sprint on here. we owned from 1981 to 2009, mileage when we let it go was 134,000 - never once had the valve clearances checked as no one locally was brave enough! Totally reliable no overheating ever. Original colour was carmine red. We live near Wakefield West Yorks. In the mid 1980's I did a 'run what ya brung' at Melbourne airfield near York, 16.02 seconds and 86mph through the lights in 3rd gear overdrive, what a great car it was. Wife learned to drive in it and she christened it 'Basil'. We only sold it 'cos it needed full restoration and we couldn't afford it at the time. Got some old picture somewhere if interested. originally it came from Lincoln, I was the 2nd owner if I remember.
Sold it to Thornes Lane Garage Wakefield around 2009.
