As a society we've all kidded ourselves that we need a standard of living that demands both parents work. We dont.
We need mums at home, dad's at work, male school teachers and decent manufacturing or other jobs that provide a degree of fulfilment and dignity in work. Then we wouldnt have overcrowded roads full of women making school pick ups and drop offs on the way to work, much lower traffic jams and no need for road pricing. Kids would learn about relationships instead of telly soaps and eat proper food. Being a mum is the most valuable job in the world...women degrade themselves by not doing it properly.
Kids would learn respect for male authority figures, men would be men again and you wouldnt have streets full of alcoholic louts vandalising what we've all worked so hard for, because thay just might have been properly brought up.
Respect to you Graeme...you wont regret it. We didnt...Ive got 3 university students, likely to be 4, all accomplished musicans and 2 maybe three going to be doctors...all happy and those old enough even drive dolomites, so they have good taste too.
It can be done...
