Has Anyone bought a water pump from "The Wedge Shop" in the usa??

If so what is the qualitylike of the pump and the smoothness of the purchace.

Just worked it out on their site a brand new 12 Vane pump delivered to the UK is £103 :D

Hadn't heard of them until I saw your post. They're up in Mark's (KWM338R) part of the world. He may know more. Why don't you post this in the main section (more visible)?

Over the last few years I've bought from several US suppliers, never had a problem. Also, I see these guys are using UPS for shipping - that should ensure you will get quick delivery. Even at £25 for postage it still seems a good deal.

Is yours not rebuildable?

The guys at Robsport will do an exchange recon for a lot less and also sell the good quality repair kits with the better seal.

unfortunatly the brass cage is damaged underneath (not our doing ) and the pump shaft is quite badly worn plus I would rather fit brand new as Id rather not do this job again in a hurry :D

the new pump I picked up a while ago for the car at an autojumble on closer inspection was not new and had been fitted and had a chipped tooth on the shaft.
