Hi all Just registered with the forum as I have been browsing it for a few months now. Really do want to buy a Dolomite but it would mean too many cars and not enough space (stag and Discovery 3 already in the stable). There is some great info on here and I especially love the restos. Keep it comming.

Mark.

Hi Ken, Near to Harrow, West London, and yes, you're right, I will get one at some point. I had an 1850 Hl Auto when I was 19 for a couple of years (long time ago) even remember the reg RGU 473R. Would like the same again or similar. Always maintained that it was the most comfortable car I ever had. Think I'll have to wait for a give away to come up in the free section.

I bought my first Sprint in Ruislip Manor in 1988.

Mr Tilson has a tidy 1850 for sale in Hampton

Yes that is a good site for triumphs and I had seen the yellow 1850, it looked ideal but I need something probably not so good (read cheaper). I'm still trying to convince myself I need one as well as the other two cars.

Actually, what would suit me is a little old lady wanting to sell her sadly deceased husbands 1850 HL auto that he had from new (for very little of course) and it needed little work to get it back on the road.
