Hello everyone!

After quite a while lurking silently on this forum, I thought it was about time to say hello!

I currently own a 1972 2000 saloon and soon will be (or strictly I should say my wife will be) the proud owner of a 1980 1500HL Automatic. Yes, we are the new owners of Howard81's Brooklands Green auto, which will be starting its long journey from Dorset, via Cheshire for welding and MOT, to Lancashire next week.

We'll be sending in our application form for membership of the club this weekend! 8)

Mark

PS. Just wanted to thank Howard, Ken 'Purplebargeken', Steve 'matienzo' and Stewart 'covcourier' for their help and input over the last few days. :D

Welcome and good on you for getting that one.

Howard, if you're reading this, how relieved are you that you don't have to strip it down?

I'm really glad this car is going to such a good home, and will be staying an Auto! With the welding and cosmetics sorted she'll be a cracker 8)

I've always called her NGU, but the previous-previous-previous owner told me she was called Molly (the Dolly)

I'll get a CD burnt of all the photos I took of her during my ownership, plus others a PO sent to be during the Round Britain Reliability Run in 2006. :)

I'm really looking forward to seeing how the car turns out!!
