You can buy prewired relay its that are just 'plug and play' kits although I have never used one so cant speak for their ease of use or reliabilty. I have heard and seen first hand some scary scary stuff done by professional auto electricians wiring in relays wrongly or in places they shouldnt or dont need to be.
I somehow managed to set alight to my TC last year after fitting relayed lights and I know what im doing, I like to think the relay was faulty, the fire was a full blown flames, lots of black smoke and a melting battery which required use of my exguinisher the second relay worked fine.

Thanks for the link ... I actually bought 2 of these about a week ago but turns out there halogens.
