Hello Dolomite people :bluewave:

I'm in the market for a Dolly: I've always liked them and it's just the sort of useable classic that would fit my needs. So I thought that this very friendly-looking club/forum would be the best place to start.

Who knows, maybe someone on here will have the car I'm looking for: I'm relaxed about which model I go for but it should have decent bodywork (I don't much like to weld), not cost too much more than a grand or so, and preferably be not too far from south west England.

Cheers!

Hello and welcome! :)

Yes you are in the right place for finding a Dolomite shaped car.

May I suggest that you put a wanted ad up in that section of the forum, there are lot of lurkers on here who don't say much but may have just what you are looking for.

Also, please do not be afraid to ask questions. We have a vast pool of knowledge here ready to spring into action to any questions you may have.

Hi and welcome to the forum/club, have a look at the cars for sale in the sales/wants section, usually a car or two in there.

This one has just come up on eBay (follow link below), apart from the missing bumpers and a spot of welding on the sill it looks solid enough!!

Enjoy the forum, loads of knowledge on here!

Welcome to the forum. A Sprint will be out of your budget unless you get lucky. You've come to the best place. Check out the Cars For Sale section of the forum. You might turn something up.

Thank you. It doesn't have to be a Sprint; just a half-decent Dolly. I'm not sticking rigidly to the budget: it's not that I need to spend less than a grand as long as Mrs Livered thinks I did :)

There's a lot to read on this forum, and a lot to learn, plus the atmosphere (if websites can have such a thing, but you know what I mean) is very friendly. I'm really enjoying it; well done to everyone involved in building a really nice little community out in this little corner of the internet.
