Help, I need to get a valuation done on my new dolly for the insurance. Does anyone know of a dealer or club member around the Hemel Hempstead area who can do this for me? :?

Details of our free valuation service, including a downloadable valuation form, can be found in the members only section...

I believe valuation forms are available from Club HQ for members valuations. You will need some pics though. Some insurers provide their own valuation service as part of the agreed value package. Lancaster stipulate pics:

1 of each side of the car
rear
front at least one picture of the car showing its numberplate
interior
engine bay

Think I sent them about 12 pics in total they seemed happy. They also wanted copies of bills for major repair work etc which can be difficult if you have done it yourself which is why it's always handy to take snaps as you go along as evidence

Thanks for the info guys. Slight problem, I am not a club member (yet) and Footman James want this valuation asap (due to a cock up at their end). I wouldn't mind if I were insuring a £100,000 classic Ferrari but this all seems over the top for a £750 dolomite to me.

It take a five minute phonecall or one short email to become a club member...

Membership of the recognised owners club is often a condition of getting classic car insurance too.
