This could potentially be the worst idea to ever grace the forums, but I'd be interested to see what people thought.

Now I'm quite into all cars and when it's on I try to watch Gumball 3000 and Cannonball 8000. Now i know it would never be as big (or expensive) as those, but I think it could be quite good fun to have a member roadtrip sometime.. just around parts of the UK, perhaps over a long weekend ?

Stopping of at hotels yada yada for the night breaks and all that jazz. Not sure how practicle or do-a-ble it is, but would people be up for that.. like way if the future ?

Phil

I was thinking of doing the RBRR last year, but life got a little too busy.

I would do something like this, if the timing was right. One thing, you definately need a co-driver. It's no fun solo.

its been mentioned before, i would be game but with everyone so spread about the contry it would have to be done so no one had excessive travelling to get to the start.

Or it was made and annual thing and we changed the start date each year ?

But yeah, we'll try to put the start point somewhere central.

I mooted a 'Mad March to the Marches' last year after the excellent convoy we had on two Sodit occasions from my house to the venue after brekkers. Just a circular tour, breakfast in Rhayader, Lunch in Brecon, evening meal in Hereford sort of thing with target departure times from set points so folk could join and leave as appropriate. Magazine deadline passed before I could plan it :?

...out of the country for middle two weeks this year :?

Anyone is welcome to poach the idea and plan it though...would need editorial and plan publishing in next magazine though...unless time has passed again...?

Maybe we could use the Magazine for a bit of MR, see who would be interested first.

Anyone have any idea of how many readers receive the magazine ?
