there was a very poor club presence last year with our allocated spaces being filled by CT members.
If chris doesn't put his hands out to offer put my name down. i have already booked the day off.

Wrong time of year though, 22nd April is the missus birthday, no chance of me going, last year was a no go for the same reason.

Some details from the Standard Triumph Forum today

STAB – Standard Triumph At Brooklands 22 April 2007
TSSC produced draft Programme (see below)

Clubs will have same space as last year, TSSC anniversary so swapping with Triumph 2000 Reg as ‘central’ club.
Slightly less overall space due to VC10 aircraft taking up part of the space.
Believed to be two entrances one for Triumphs one for ordinary cars
PA system hired by TSSC and commentator arranged (Graham Robson)
Window stickers will be produced for cars attending.
Organisers require names of marshals from each club as soon as possible.
Clubs wil only get a couple of passes for Marshals, marshals to wear Hi Vis jackets.
Club cars to each club area, when full, all mix in overflow parking, if that fills then its public car park (over the road??)
TR Register plan to start a tour of the TS2 Car from STAB. The car will then go round all TR Reg groups over the next few months. Decided to fit departure in programme at 1300 hrs.
TR Register have decided to plant a tree as a ‘Carbon Footprint offset’

Try if you can Lewis..it has quite an eerie atmostphere when you look around at the old track(you can walk around on it) and think of all the history that has gone on there..Plus you get access to the aircraft hangers, where they have the only surviving Wellington bomber,(and that was found at the bottom of loch Ness!!)a Hurricane,Harrier and a Concorde,ect...come on Guy's and Gall's..any one else?

I've got it pencilled in as a "possible", but I'm not sure when I shall be taxing SFB.

If you think it`s eerie in the daytime do one of the torchlight ghost walks, they are brilliant, you get fed too :D
