There is to be a Classic Car Rally on 8/9 Apr 07 (Easter Weekend) at the Hovercraft Museum, Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire. Tickets are on the gate, on the day. I will endeavour to find out more details (price etc), but in the meantime, here is a link:

http://www.hovercraft-museum.org/

I'll definately be going, but I don't know which day yet.

I'll be going on the Sunday (8th) :) .

If we get a few of us, maybe we could arrange a rendeavous place beforehand, so that we can all go in together, and not be scattered about :!: That way, we don't have too far to shout abuse at each other  .

Date: Sun 8 Apr 07

Time of Meeting Up: 8.30 - 9.00 am

Rendeavous Point: Lee-on-Solent sea-front car park.

Directions: Please see page 2 for new meeting place :!:

The show opens to the public from 10.00 - 5.00. Exhibitors can get there from 8.30 onwards. We are requested to try and stay until at least 3.00. Prices for exhibitors I believe are £5.00 for car and driver, and £1.00 each for passengers, but I'm not 100% sure on that, as the Hosts don't seem to be too sure :!: That is what it was last year, so here's hoping :!:

Can everyone who is definately attending please let me know, that way I know how many people we are waiting in the car park for

Is that Easter weekend? If so I probably won't be able to make it even if I do get the car fixed :( I will get the car out to a local meet soon though, hopefully!

had hoped to take the tolly, but new alternator, clutch slave and the steering still needs sorting.

I am afraid I might have to fix it over the easter weekend. At this stage its a no for me. Best laid plans and all that.

David,

What about your 1500 daily driver, or the Spitfire you brought a few weeks back :?: It doesn't matter if you don't come in a "club car", as there will still be enough of us there to represent TDC.

Not only that, but a couple of my Dave's mates have asked if they can come along with us, and one owns a Spitfire, and the other owns a 1960's Volvo Amazon :!: The more the merrier I say
