As most of us are probably aware, this year sees the second annual "Drive It Day", where we are encouraged to take our classics out and about and get them seen :D. For local events in your area, please log onto the FBHVC site.

For details of a run in Southen Hampshire, please see below. I am aware that this clashes with Brooklands Triumph Day :!:

Organised by South Hants Vehicle Preservation Society

We will be organising a a Drive it Day run from Hedge End near Southampton to the well known Submarine Museum in Gosport on the 22nd April. Our club has over 240 active members and expect an excellent response on the day, however we also extend a welcome to all who have an interest in preserving historical vehicles to attend.

We will meet at the Jessops/DFS car park at Hedge End by 10:30am, leaving in groups from 11:00am and drive via Park Gate, Fareham and Lee-on-Solent to arrive at the museum around mid-day. There is ample secure parking at the museum and refreshments are available on site. The museum is well worth a visit as is the submarine Alliance although you will have to pay for the privilage.

Well they hosted a show last June at Queen Elizabeth Country Park and they seemed quite friendly :) . There were four or five dolomites there (one was Chris's) and a FWD, and one of the Dolly 1300's was a member :!:

I've e-mailed them anyway to see if I'm eligible.
