Mane Chance Sanctuary in Compton, Surrey rescue and rehabilitate old, abused and abandoned horses. Founded in 2011 by actress Jenny Seagrove, this 47 acre site is a vast oasis of peace and tranquillity and currently home to 30 residents. The horses are integrated within the local community and the sanctuary regularly welcomes sick, special needs and under privileged youngsters to visit and partake in some equine therapy.

We are delighted to announce details of our latest fundraiser, Vavavoom. This will be the most wonderful evening hosted at the Lewis Private Motor Collection in Farnham on Saturday 13th February. The evening will start at 6pm with a wander through over 50 of the most beautifully restored and maintained vintage cars dating from the early 1900’s up to the 1990’s and include a 1933 Triumph Dolomite plus others, MG's, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, Jaguars and even the Nigel Mansell world championship winning car.

This is a must for everyone, but most definitely the car lovers. The elegance and beauty of these old cars is just fabulous. The wander will be accompanied by a welcome drink and followed by a buffet meal, fantastic cabaret with a variety of vintage entertainment and an auction hosted by Jenny Seagrove. There may even be appearances from the odd celebrity on the night too!

TIckets for the night are just £60 per head or a table of 10 for £500 if you would like to arrange a group from your club. They are available by contacting abi@manechancesanctuary.org or 01483 351526. All funds raised from the night will go towards supporting our horses, special needs youngsters and disadvantaged visitors. I am attaching a poster for the event and would be very grateful if you could pass these details to your members, and perhaps share on your website, to make them aware of the night.

If there are any queries, please feel free to drop me a line anytime.

Kind regards

Pam Gaffney
