Today was the Pangbourne Classic Show. It was well advertised on the local radio, so we went along. It's one of the smaller shows in the grounds of the Technical College. An interesting selection of cars with several Astons/ Rolls Royce / Bentley models sponsored by the local main-dealer showroom. Lots of Fords and MGBs of course. We were the only Dolomite, but lots of Stags.
Food was disappointing, with only a burger van and a coffee outlet, It was good coffee though with homemade cream tea.
Sadly there were no trade stands.
An interesting innovation was a brass-band and in-between times a wind organ recital in an on-site chapel. Those were both very good. It was nice to be entertained in the hot sun.
Tony.
