I'm up for this one, as usual, i'd do the Thursday setup and all day Sunday including teardown.

I also have a couple of project cars that need work of one sort or another if needed, do we know at this stage if welding will be possible?

Steve

Thanks for this Steve.
Myself and Robin are putting this years show together, so we will pencil you in and also let you know if we require a car - we have a few offers already which is encouraging.

We won't be having an electricity supply, so any work carried out will have to be of the hand tool variety. We are also not permitting anything that could create a spark, so no grinding either. The H&S restrictions are understandably strict at the NEC and it does make life easier for us if we keep things as simple as possible.

We will be in touch Steve - thanks again and it will be good to see you and the rest of the gang for this show - always a good event.

Will the NEC still be insisting on discriminatory entry requirements?

That's OK then, count me in to assist.

I boycotted any venue over the last two years that restricted entry based on an arbitrary health status

That was a most enjoyable event. Thanks to Matt and Robin for organising it.
I always come back with lots of useful bits and catching up with people who I've known in the past is always good.
The food and the real coffee was good this year; I think the staff have made a special effort for the punters this year.
Same again next year ?
Tony.

Thanks to all who made such a great effort with this years TDC stand at this event. We had a really active display over the three days and as always it was good to catch up with so many friends.

David Parnell completed a headlining replacement, aided by the very experienced Robin and Rob Marshall completed many tasks on his 1500 HL, including brakes and underbody rust treatment.

Thanks in particular to:

Robin Eames, Rob Marshall, Rob Jones, Marshall Stevenson, David Parnell, Mike Ladd, Tony (Migwelder) and Alun Nicholas.

I think we all felt the NEC had made a real effort to make things run smoothly, and I found them in particular to be really helpful with questions I had and last minute changes to our staff etc.

Possibly not as busy as we expected, but that did make wondering around the show quite pleasant.

I'm sure more Dolly shaped projects will be welcomed next year!

Well done to all involved in organising and running the stand, looked great.
Nice to chat to Matt and Robin yesterday, good to see you guys.
I thought the show was very quiet yesterday.

I was very disappointed with the show this year. There was one hall for club stands, there was also a hall and a half for traders selling auto jumble and new tools etc.The second hall and a half also had a classic car auction going on and they charged £10 to go and view. There was also dealers selling classics and that was it!
Considering the cost of everything,, entrance fee, parking fee, and fuel for 280 miles I expected more and I won't be going again.

It's been like that the last few years at least. I've been saying I won't go back..... It is poor value for money.
