Despite a few last minute "challenges" (like trying to work on my car in a snowstorm in order to get it ready for an MOT re-test) and then having to run around trying to gather up display equipment, the show turned out to be a success, at least from the Club's point of view. This was due in no small part to the enormous effort made by a number of members who helped out during the weekend.
I'd like to thank Mike and Val, who brought most of the display equipment along, as well as lending us some rather snazzy display boards. Also thanks to Mike Groom for providing the slideshow (fantastic!), to Justyn, Matthew, Dave and Nathan (not forgetting Von) for bringing their cars along (a superb, varied and very colourful display indeed). I mustn't forget to mention Ken, who did a super job with Regalia sales, Susie who signed up several new members, Malc who did the biz with the spares and Reg, Richard, Holger, Marshall, Toledoman and everyone who helped man the stand and pack away after the show. A great team effort and judging by the comments, a very enjoyable event for all.
Now we're looking forward to the Restoration show next month....
