Alan would you be able to confirm the pub name?
bullington arms
bullington cross inn??

and the name of the road for the not so locals.

i drove past it yesterday and forgot to look

Justyn the name of the pub at bullington is the Bullington Cross Inn. In the phone book it is addressed as Sutton Scotney but in actual fact it is not anywhere near there as it is right in th middle of the A34/A303 junction.

From the south (on A34) take 2nd turning for A303 (M3, London). Follow slip road to roundabout. Take third exit signposted Winchester A34 You will then be on a link road go under a bridge and the turning for the Bullington Cross Inn will be on the right about 100m further on just before the next bridge.

From the north (on A34) take exit A303 Andover/Basingstoke. At roundabout take first exit. Follow road under bridge. Immediately after bridge there will be a left turn for the Bullington Cross Inn.

Might not be able to do Friday or Saturday, so it'll be a case of looking on the day wether I can make it or not - a family engagement and dinner has been planned as a late birthday party and I'm obliged to be present!
