Hello all,

I've been back and forth so much as many of you will know, but I have unfortunately put my Dolomite Nina up for sale. Any questions let me know please.

Link to the eBay page here!

That is a shame, always a tough decision to sell a car.

Just looked at the eBay ad, It's a pity you don't have any carpets. I have successfully sold quite a few cars on eBay for myself and other members of my family so hope you don't mind a few comments which hopefully will attract more interest to your car. I would also add some more pictures, eBay allows you 12. You need a picture showing under the bonnet, one of the dash dials with the engine running. If you can a general shot of the underneath and a picture showing all the paperwork spread out over your kitchen table - they all help show a genuine seller. Also a nice pic of the "new" bootlid you mentioned & inside the boot as well (loose 2 of the interior pics if you need to - one each of the interior front and rear is sufficient). Be prepared for stupid questions, timewasters and low ball offers, just be patient with them all you never know who will come back and actually buy it. Emphasise that it is/was your daily driver and is utterly reliable so no mechanical issues other than the overdrive, also mention you are a long time owners club member. It also looks like a fairly original car that hasn't been messed with or modified, mention that as well. Always found it is best to be 100% honest and not hide anything. When buying I must admit I tend to examine the pictures in minute detail to gain the best idea of the car, so to me good pictures of as much as possible are key in getting my interest.

The body work is going to be the main issue so make sure you have your answers ready!

Good luck.

Roger

That’s a good price.

I actually paid more than that to get my Sprint back.

Good luck.
