Not the car, the seller, the listing, the half dozen or so similarly s##t listings for the same car not long ago. Take a look at his other listings.

All the account feedback looks normal but is over a year old. Account hijacked by a scammer is my guess.

You are right to be wary. That car belongs to a new Club member who also has an account on here. I'll contact him and clarify....

100% eBay account compromised - a load of scam spam listings.
The give away is the 4th photo with the out of ebay contact details.

It sold to a buyer who, so far as you can tell with redacted bidder identities, is not the current seller in june. That would tie in with the new member. It has been listed several times since then as I said. At one point it had 4 listings, all rubbish ones like my op link. All those listings have been removed.

I've just spoken to the current owner, the car is definitely not for sale. 100% confirmed, this is a fraudulent listing, now reported to ebay.

Interestingly, the owner was tinkerng with it when I rang! The listing has now been pulled by ebay.

I think it's reached the stage where the eBay classic car section for Triumph contains more scam adverts than actual genuine sales. I've actually given up look at it.
