It amazes me when the bidding jumps 3K £700 to £3700.
I wouldn’t bid untill the very end to keep the price down.
I’ll only put a cheeky bid in for something that I’ve asked a
Question about just to show the seller my interest.

Personally your going to spend a awful lot restoring it.
Would you make any money if you sold when done.
Possibly but not very much

Wonder if Marts watching this.

No I wasn't watching it. A bit pricey for me for a full resto though.

Let's hope it gets a good new owner.

Reserve not met...

Had I been selling that, I think I'd have been very happy with nearly £5k for it

Back on Fleabay.
@£4100 reserve not met.
Looks like a three day auction.

So the story here is that someone bought this car off Facebook for a modest price, listed it on eBay, where the bidding was quite brisk up until £4800, then greedily decided to stop the auction and relist with an even higher reserve?

Dunno about the Facebook part of the story, but the seller let the auction run to the end. It ended with a high bid of £4700 and the reserve not met. So he's now relisted it, I'm guessing with the same reserve price.

As mentioned previously it is on Car & Classic for £5995, so I guess the reserve is around that figure.

Prices are going up but I think that is optimistic.

Definitely a bit optimistic when you can have this series 1 in the new year for OBO £7.5k! Running, driving, tastefully improved, fresh MOT, yes it's auto, but still a bargain by comparison!
