Anyone interested in my 1972 4 door Toledo CXC 85K
I've re built the carb,
Fitted a Kenlowe and electric fan, Electronic points and 12V Coil (but comes with parts to convert it back) poly bushes on ten front, new shocks on front a couple of thousand mile ago.
Structurally very sound, paint work is dull but solid and the only rust to mention is the front edge of the bonnet and the bottom lip of the boot.
Totally unmolested car. Just fitted new solonid and electric fuel pump. last mot 12 months ago advised slight weep to rear shocks and brake hoses starting to degrade but it passed.
Went to take it for the MOT this time and it wouldn't start (I unfortunately left it standing for 3 months after it performed as a wedding car.) hence the new solonid and pump, now it starts first turn of the key!
now the bad news (i think the head gasket as gone) and i really don't have the time anymore to take car of her as i should.
any reasonable offer accepted. have plenty of spares to go with it)
ask if you have any questions (car was in dolly mixture issue 159 Feb 2014).
