Hello everybody, I have a "project" Dolomite 1850hl auto and unfortunately I'm about to lose the use of the garage where its parked. If I'm honest it's a viable restoration but only for somebody more skilled at bodywork than I am, it wasn't rotten when parked up two years ago however it is accident damaged ( offside wing and front panel,) the engine runs, good oil pressure, quite a bit of money spent on new brakes radiator hoses etc. I would prefer to sell complete but if doesn't go soon I'll have to strip as much as I can store in my loft and scrap the rest which would be a real shame! If anybody is interested get in touch, come have a look and we'll talk money. I'm in Shipley West York. Thanks Gary

I'd like to take it on but I just don't have the space at the moment. I need to sell my Polo and the BMW will be coming soon. I've got the Corsa and my own 1850 auto to revive at some point as well...

How much are you wanting? You can PM me if you'd rather not say "in public" (so to speak).

Thanks for your interest, hadn't really thought too hard about a price but I'm open to serious offers. The reason I suggested people come look before, I suppose I was bit preoccupied looking for rust and of course the accident damage to notice one or two modifications to the shell so I started looking for a shell and ended up buying another auto that turned out to be a really good car and so the project got abandoned. And now I'm loosing the garage where its stored and for the same reasons it stalled, health its unlikely to get broken other than easy stuff I'm hoping somebody can take it on.

Now there's a place I've not heard for 36 years, I went to school there!

Sorry, not relevant...
