For sale is my 1980 Triumph Dolomite 1300. This car is an ongoing project that I don't have the space to finish. It runs ok and is a pretty solid shell but needs some bodywork doing. Mechanically it's quite good but has a whiny diff, but may just need the seal doing with some new oil. Can provide a diff if needed as I have a few spares.
Since my ownership of the car it has had a new alternator, starter motor, distributor, a carb rebuild, anti roll bar bushes, radiator and so on. Like mentioned before it runs quite nicely and has never let me down but could do with a tune up to get it really smooth. Before the pandemic I had taken it to quite a few shows and it's never let me down! Interior is in very good condition as it has some like-new front and rear seats, the rears i have covered to try and stop the sun degrading the material. Underneath the carpets is almost new, not sure if i have a picture of this but it even has the original BL tape holding the wiring in! Most of this work can be seen in evidence in the resto thread I had on the forum:

Rusty bits:
The boot floor needs some attention as the factory rust protection has peeled and has let water in
The a-pillar has some rust which needs looking at
Front eyebrows are fillered but need re-doing as it's bubbled and the paint has discoloured
Rear arches need doing, however I will include the panels to do so in the sale
The vented section of the roof needs doing however I'll include a cut from another car in the sale
The sills were done a while ago previous to my ownership so are in good shape and won't need doing anytime soon I'd have thought. Underneath is fairly solid as it's still got the original rust protection, under the rear arches is like new and I've hammerited them, can find pictures of this if interested.
The reason for sale is that I've moved back to my parents where the car is sitting on grass and as you can imagine it's not doing it any favours. I feel I am doing a disservice to the car by letting it sit there rusting away and I want it to go to someone who has the space and time to do it properly.
It has no MOT currently, it will need some work for the next MOT, the headlights need adjusting and the rear radius arms need a pair of new bushes. In April 2021 this car will be MOT and tax exempt.
Price for this is £1500 ono. I'm not in any rush to get rid of it and would like it to go to a good owner as overall it's a solid car that needs some TLC.
