Mine arrived today thanks. Just need a decent spell of weather to figure out the drilling and fitting. Why you ask do I need good weather? Well because I don't fancy opening the garage door and dangling my feet out in all this rain and wind! Sadly my garage is slightly too short to carry out the procedure with the door closed.

Got mine too, sturdy well built little number it is, should fit a treat. 8)

Don't understand though Mark, why do you need to drill?

You need to drill an additional hole for the top nut and bolt.

You do? I didn't realise that.

My one looks identical to the original one shown here a few pages back.

Oh and the 'view from the engine bay' is I believe upside down as otherwise it will not fit. The slotted hole therefore goes at the top not the bottom.

Very interesting thread..............when I got my sprint in 96 it had covered 86k and the throttle area was cracked and was only giving about 3/4 and it was one of the first jobs on the car to unlesh what power there was available.
track action maniac.

Correct, the photo is up side down!

Sorry.

The new brackets are an exact facsimilie of the original. The drilled hole in the bulkhead is only required as on the auto the slot hole at the top takes another nut and bolt in addition to the two bolts that pass through the complete slotted holes o hold the throttle pedal. I guess this extra nut and bolt could be omitted as it would be of marginal contribution to the added rigidity...

Be warned, you will probably need an assistant to hold the throttle pedal in place whilst the bolts locate with it.
