Hello, welcome. The Dolomite filler neck is a very slim one, so your answer is probably "no", but watch someone come along and prove me wrong...... :(

New to computers so not sure if doing this right! I was wondering because part of the plastic on mine is broken you dont get many dolomite petrol caps listed on ebay but you seem to get quite a few nice chrome/stainless listed for minis by the way I am in the dolomite club got a sandglow 1300 spent a fortune on and still spending! LFW 698V pure fun!

post in the wanted section, there should be someone who has a petrol cap spare.Welcome to the forum and dolomite ownership.
Also when searching ebay as well as triumph dolomite try searching 'triumoh 1300', 'triumph 1500', and just 'dolomite'.

I need one as well, you post in wanted's first then.

I'd assumed it would be interchangeable with something else BL?

All time favourite of mine: eBay seller listed a 'DOLOMITE' boot badge for sale, with 'Dolamite' in the title :!: .... I can understand 'fat-fingering' Dolimite, with 'o' & 'i' being next to each other; but, 'a' is the other end of the keyboard. How the hell can 'you' mis-spell it when it's there in big shiny capital letters in front of 'you' ?

Other petrol caps look the same (eg Maxi) but only have a two lug locator, not the (much better) Dolomite three lug locator.
If so inclined, you can adapt a Dolomite filler neck to allow a Maxi cap to fit..........but why bother when standard Dolomite is better?

Occasionally a cheap one can be found:

Messed up the link, but I've bought a second-hand one with two keys for £1.04 plus £3 shipping. Been looking since May! There are often NOS ones for about £12 plus shipping.

Hopefully I'll be :D when it arrives and not  again.
Anyone want to buy TWO stainless locking petrol caps that DON'T fit Dolomites!

Possibly mistaken but I'm sure that the Herald shared it's cap with the Austin A60, I only say this due to a distant memory of my Uncle borrowing the cap off my Dad's Austin Cambridge as the one on his Herald had been nicked, or knowing my uncle more likely still sat at the petrol station.

Shamelessly nicked from the above ebay listing:
