DOLLY SPRINT FLL 5T

#1 Post by ScottH »

LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF, MY NAME IS SCOTT AND I LIVE IN WINDSOR.
I OWN FLL 5T SHE'S A 79. SHE HAS BEEN STRIPPED DOWN AND VISITED RUSTY BUG IN YORK FOR ALLY SHOT BLASTING .
I'M VERY FUSSY ABOUT WORKMANSHIP, AND AM PLEASED TO SAY THEY DID A IST CLASS JOB AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY. THEY WERE HALF THE COST OF THE LOCALS AND INCLUDED IN THE PRICE WAS COLLECTION AND DELIVERY BACK HOME. WILL DOWN LOAD SOME PICTURES OVER WEEKEND AND YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELVES .
I'M STARTING TO REBUILD NOW AND LOOKING FOR PARTS, ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Hi Scott, welcome. Piccies please, we like piccies here. :D

Also, could you say some more about the firm down in York that did the work please? I have a few things that could be put into them if they're good and not overpriced. 8)

Here is the thread I started to list the bits that Scott was after. I am sure he will either start his own or append the one I started now....

just thought it would be useful to link them together

Scott

I am in Staines so it is nice to hear there are more local Sprints about. I would recommend joining the club asap if you are after parts as some of them only appear on the members page first so if you are looking for hard to get parts you may get lucky. Members will often want to know the parts are going to genuine Dolomite fans and especially someone who will be doing a full blown job like yours sounds like it is. The repro/repair panels available are also very good.

Skelton's nowhere near York. As far as I'm aware, it's by Redcar, in east Cleveland.

By the way, Scott, the caps lock key is the one just below the tab key on your keyboard.

8) Impressive range of services available and, best bit, about 80 miles closer to my place than York would be, though that wouldn't really help anyone down South I guess.

get yourself an account at either imgur, photobucket or one of the other photo hosting sites and upload the pics to there. Then once you have done that i'll do the next bit of instructions about how you can post the links on here. (unless someone cut and paste the instructions that they have already written)

We really ought to do a sticky on this...
