the only welding to the floor is the captivenut on the drivers seat no rust here

good old red lead paint or underseal but the car was black on the underside? nice jacking point

small garage but do have access to a body shop thats it folks till tomorrow :D

n/s front door
full onter sill n/s ,will use rimmers if i have to
rear wheel tuds the panel that the wheel arch is welded to, need both sides
front panel inner , headlight eyebrows both of them
both front seats and head rests must be black and very good?
all woodwork door caps,dash, glove box ,vent and clock but must be very good dont want to refub it, dash must be for round haz lights not sq?
theres a lot more i need but will list later thanks scott :D

yes john your wright ,just welded in reinforceing plate for n/s sill brought that at stoneleigh this year

That cill looks familiar ;-)

Can do the equivalent for the other side...

Eyebrows, GRP ones in production, no need whatsoever for steel here and they are a rust blackspot

just started to fit n/s sill this is from rimmer bro ???????????? they dont fit to well :snivel:
will hang the doors tomorrow but the gap is to big at the bottom of the doors ? 1/2 inch or 12 mm
what has gone wrong,this has not been tacked in yet but clampet in place need some ideas guys, plasmer cutter and big hammer
Also has eneryone repaired the apost at the bottom near the sill im thinking box section here :D

Best to have the doors on when initially aligning the cill, but without wings you have little register to get those aligned...hmm...

If you have wings and doors you ideally need to trial fit them all as you go along. a lot of work sometimes taking bits on and off but it's what you need to get the alignment right.
If you have not replaced a full sill however i am not sure why it would be out of line , or was it before perhaps ? If you have just added the cover sill to the old panel you should have the same height ( or higher if lap welded ) as the old sill. When you fit a full sill however you can end up with it being low if you don't get it right up under the A/B/D posts.

If it's still clamped you could look to lap weld it which will close the gap but you will also end up with a small step. Try taking lots of measurements from the other side of the car if that is ok and see if you can find any odd differences.

Hello everyone
Brought new dash board for my dolly off ebay,
guess what they dont fit into the consul screws in the wrong place ,rear heated window switch in the wrong place,
seatbelt warning light in wrong place will down load pictures tomorrow

That dash is from a triumph 2000mk2 thanks to Alum for info WAITING FOR EBAYER TO EXPLAIN????????????????

Hi and happy new year to you all. :D
Ebayer paid the money back on that dash and have not used ebay since and not going to .
Cars not come on but the bathroom has been done, Sndras happy now ,now i can get on with the car, wise move boys trust me?
Have brought some panels of Alum NICE GUY very helpfull :bluewave:
