I'm not the expert on this but to start this off

Roll couple percentage will vary from car to car (assuming we are talking modified race Dolomites) according to the specific spring rates and more so the anti-roll bars, especially if this is adjustable.

The rear roll center height is the one of concern with the Dolomite as it gets higher as you lower the car - hence the usual advice not to lower the suspension and thus height of the car by more than one inch. The higher the rear roll centre gets, the more likely the rear will break away suddenly when cornering. The only way I have seen to get around this is to raise the body mounting height of the rear upper links - this isn't that simple in fact as it means they go through the body and have to be fixed somewhere in the vicinity of the rear seat squab. Of course that isn't allowed in the regs for some classic race formulae. The guy whose car I am referring to is the one who explained it all to me when I was first getting into racing many years ago. If you are lucky he may see this post and add more detail.

What are you planning with your car?

Hi Geoff
I'm using the 4 link escort system just worried about rc so don't want to
use the watts kit I'm mford linking which lower the rc considerably more
it's a mind field just wanted to hear from any dolomite race car experts on the subject
I am just trying to get as much info as possible before commiting myself.
I know it's a long shot as most havnt gone to the extremes with the dolomite
I have gained most of my knowledge from the escort boys.

Looks like you need this - don't know how much the free demo download will help.

Looks like real serious stuff - I just drive and try to keep the car on the black stuff. After 5 years of driving with an LSD I've just heard about ramp angles and preload and succeeded only in confusing myself.
