The romantic castle - a product of the early 19th century - stands on a high rise above a lake. The castle is surrounded by sweeping lawns and a variety of mature trees, including cedars of lebannon, oak, and chestnut.

There is a children's play area, picnic site, farm animals including llamas and African pygmy goats and aviary with many varieties of birds. See http://www.cholmondeleycastle.com .

I'm going to the earlier show tomorrow so i'll make sure some decent pics get in the mag to give a sneak preview of the event location and surroundings.

There are no rooms available at the Cholmondeley Arms for the 3rd September so last night I booked into the Premier Inn at West Crewe. It is only 12.4 miles or a 20 minute drive to Cholmondeley. Last year a number of us stayed at the local Premier Inn and we had an evening meal and breakfast together. Currently the West Crewe Premier Inn is only £29 for a room plus they are doing a meal deal, £22 for the evening meal and breakfast. I hope a number of fellow Dolomite owners will join the wife and myself.

I am hoping to attend on 4 September, but my 1500 SE is off the road at present. I am a new club member, so don't know whether it is okay to turn up in another (non-Triumph) car? If so, do I need to provide a registration number in order to get some sort of ticket/pass? Very many thanks.

Richard

Looking forward to the weekend, unfortunately Dolly may not make it..... Brake Servo broken and no replacements around. !£$&"£*&^*^$!!!!!!

There are major roadworks on the A49. The Road is completely closed just South of Cholmondely Castle but please, do not panic. If approaching from the North ignore the Diversion and continue down to the Castle. If approaching from the South you will have a diversion signposted that is not too far out of the way.

See you there, I am on the gate from 7:30.... Yawn.
It isn't Orange!!!!!!
The other one wasn't Purple either!!!
One of the new ones will probably be green, very green.
Another new one is green too but not as green as the previous one. Still pretty green. No, now it's Blue.
The other new one will be white with stripes. Actually it might not. No, it will be.
BUT, that one is definitely Yellow :=}
